From New Stillpoint Book...


In the vernacular of modern mystics and alternative healing circles, we will often here people say things like, “Just ask the universe and your answer will come,” or, “I’m feeling more connected to the universe.” For many people, directives and statements like these can seem puzzling and enigmatic, even if there is a felt sense of what is meant by them. They imply an intimate rapport with an unfathomable source but one that is difficult to articulate. However, to understand this relationship with the universe is a key to experiencing Stillpoint.


As magnificently complex as the universe is, its intrinsic “language” is really quite simple. The conversation we’re having with the universe is based on three principles of physics:


positive

negative

neutrality


While many spiritual traditions and fields of science discuss these three universal principles, ours is not just another theory or analytical description. The foundation of our work is based on the experiential understanding that these three principles create the conditions for what is happening here—in our world and in our individual lives. Understanding the contraction and unwinding of the positive and negative polarities into the neutral state can alter your life for the better. It is a natural progression of movement that transforms the physics of any condition or phenomena—meaning any experience, situation, circumstance, obstacle, or limitation.



From the macro to the micro perspectives—from the great galactic system to our personal Earthly experience—it is helpful to understand the relative physics that is at play. Experientially understanding this progression (from contraction, to unwinding, into neutrality or Stillpoint), means seeing and feeling how it applies to our own experience—sensations in the body, thoughts, emotions, interactions, and more. For example, a sensation may occur in the body as a contraction (positive)—felt as tension, tightness, or pain—until it begins to unwind (negative) and arrive at a neutral state of openness or rest. Thoughts and emotions can roll out in that same way, as can interactions we have with people and situations in our daily lives.


Comprehending the language that is “spoken” throughout the universe—between galaxies, stars, planets, elements, minerals, molecules, organisms, and cells—can help us to move through things like old injuries, chronic health issues, emotional blockages, difficult relationship dynamics, and other challenges with greater ease and insight.


Before we become versed in the language of positive, negative, and neutrality, we often find ourselves reacting to our life experiences and stuck in states of contraction. We find ourselves tolerating challenging conditions in our lives (and sometimes suffering through them) without knowing that we have the ability to do something about them in any moment. The more we consciously engage the progression of positive, negative, and neutrality—actually inducing the progression—the more adept we become at reversing outward manifestations of contraction (which we often refer to as outer phenomena) and returning to the neutral state.


Everyone take another big breath in…and drop in... to the space between...

While you're resting here try to hold on to another thought or an emotion.

Again, It's not so easy....


Breathe in.... breathe out... rest here....Now try to find an area of tension or pain in the body while you're resting here.


When you're neutral it's like taking the magnet polarized which things cling to,

and like you flip it neutral... and everything drops off the magnet... and you start to cultivate neutral here....


Breathe in...and breathe out...drop in to the space between...

do this throughout the day...rest here...


You're not going to hold on to old injuries, cell memory, beliefs, emotions, or stress...

you're just going to start decompressing that stuff.


Okay now take another breath in and hold, rest here...this is the most valuable thing...right here...this ability to rest here...practice throughout the day...dropping in...to this sweet indescribable place....practice....rest here...in the space between


Practice...dropping in...into Stillpoint...the neutral state...
